BOGO waffle sandwiches for National Waffle Day and free pancakes with Pancake Bob

National Waffle Day is Sunday, and to celebrate, the Wafflette Cafe in Orange County is offering guests a buy-one-get-one-free deal. If you stop in Saturday or Sunday, you can buy one savory waffle sandwich and get one free. Some of the waffle sandwiches include pulled pork, smoked salmon and tuna. The cafe will also give out free eight-ounce samples of its soy-based shaved snow treats. The free samples are available Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from open to close Saturday and Sunday. A cardboard cutout of “The Sims 4’s” Pancake Bob character is on a road trip to find the best pancakes in the world. He’s making a stop at the Mel’s Drive-In Diner in Hollywood on Saturday. You can stop in and take a photo with Bob from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you share your photo via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you’ll earn a free stack of pancakes.
