Prime choices
SUNDAY
The winner of the reality show “High School Musical: Get in the Picture” (with host Nick Lachey, above) gets a role in a music video that will roll during the end credits of the forthcoming “High School Musical” feature film. Here’s hoping the starry-eyed kids can keep that in perspective. (ABC, 8 p.m.)
MONDAY
The HBO documentary “Heidi Fleiss: The Would-Be Madam of Crystal” follows the “Hollywood Madam” and her attempts to open the nation’s first legal brothel for female clients in the desert town of Crystal, Nev. (HBO, 9 p.m.)
You’ve seen “The Dark Knight” (in Imax, natch), now indulge in more Batman lore with the one-hour History Channel special “Batman Tech.” (History, 9 p.m.)
TUESDAY
On the second-season premiere of “General Hospital: Night Shift,” a car crashes through the ER, injuring pregnant Dr. Robin Scorpio and killing a member of the staff. Plus: new interns! Who needs to wait for “Grey’s Anatomy” to return this fall? (SoapNet, 11 p.m.)
Double-header: “Deadliest Catch,” the Season 4 finale and a behind-the-scenes special. Below, host Scott Hillstrand. (Discovery Channel, 9 and 10 p.m.)
WEDNESDAY
MTV reality TV comedy “Buzzin’ ” tracks the adventures of recording artist Shwayze, self-described as “the only black kid in Malibu,” and his handlers. Watch for the sage advice of his manager, Jordan Schur, credited with launching the careers of Ashley Simpson and Limp Bizkit. And by “watch,” we mean beware. (MTV, 10:30 p.m.)
Also, your choice between the fourth-season premiere of “Criss Angel: Mindfreak” (A&E, 10:30 p.m.) and the season-ender of “Mind of Mencia.” (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.)
THURSDAY
The housing market may be slumping, but it’s always fun to look – especially at unusual homes. “Extreme Living” visits one in Laguna Beach built on a mind-boggling incline and another in Tampa Bay, Fla., that is constructed like a fortress to withstand hurricanes. (HGTV, 9:30 p.m.)
Also, the last of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” for the season. (Fox, 8 p.m.)
FRIDAY
Someone wins half
a million dollars
on the final episode of the trivia show “Duel.” (ABC, 9 p.m.)
SATURDAY
David Hasselhoff alert: The actor stars in “Anaconda 3,” a sequel coming to TV – 11 years after J.Lo and friends were first harassed by some hungry water snakes. Bonus: The Hoff will also star in an upcoming fourth installment. (Sci Fi Channel, 9 p.m.)
Or: CBS’ “EliteXC Saturday Night Fights” returns with a rematch between Robbie Lawler (left) and Scott Smith. (CBS, 9 p.m.)
