Small fire erupts on Paramount’s Hollywood lot
A small fire broke out Saturday on the Hollywood lot of Paramount Pictures, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
About 5:30 p.m., 20 firefighters responded to the blaze inside a two-story building on Paramount’s lot in the 5500 block of Melrose Avenue, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The fire was confined to a cart holding furnishings and production equipment and took 14 minutes to extinguish.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Humphrey said.
