Woman arrested on suspicion of making threat toward Lakeside schools
A 26-year-old woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of making a threat that led to the lockdown of three schools in Lakeside in eastern San Diego County.
Sarah Joy Lomaintewa was arrested after threatening to “shoot up” a school, the Sheriff’s Department said. After the threat was received, lockdowns were ordered at El Capitan High School, Linda Park Elementary School and Tierra Del Sol Middle School.
Lomaintewa will be charged with making a terrorist threat and threatening a school, according to Sheriff’s Lt. George Calderon. She is a parent of a student at one of the schools, Fox-5 San Diego said.
