One dead as car leaves 405-110 freeway transition lane and hits tree
One person died in a single-vehicle freeway crash in Carson early Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP said the accident was reported around 2:15 a.m. after the vehicle left the transition lane from the southbound 405 Freeway to the southbound 110 Freeway and hit a tree.
There was no information about the victim.
It was also unclear whether there was anyone else in the car.
The transition lane was closed temporarily after the crash was reported.
