Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near the Geysers, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Sunday morning one mile from the Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:14 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 2.5 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Healdsburg, Calif., 14 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 17 miles from Windsor, Calif., and 71 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
