Man fatally shot in La Puente
Authorities were searching Sunday for three men suspected of fatally shooting a man in La Puente in what is believed to be a gang-related incident.
The shooting was reported Saturday about 11:15 p.m. in the 100 block of 2nd Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement. The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a silver Honda Accord.
The victim, whose name and age were not given pending notification of next of kin, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
