Man, child dead following barricade situation in Trabuco Canyon
A man and child were found dead in a Trabuco Canyon home Wednesday night following a barricade situation, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities responded about 6 p.m. to a home on Swallows Lane after a 911 hang-up, said Lt. Jeff Hallock, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department.
When authorities arrived, they determined a “domestic dispute” had occurred, Hallock said.
“The male half of the dispute refused to leave the home,” Hallock said.
SWAT was called in and entered the home, which is when the two bodies were found.
No additional information was immediately released.
