A man has been arrested Thursday on suspicion of killing a man and his 12-year-old son inside their Hemet home, police said.

Quilik Lamont Walton was taken into custody in the 28500 block of Shady Tree Lane when an officer spotted him inside a vehicle believed to be connected to the killings, according to the Hemet Police Department.

Family members told police that Walton lived at the home, where 44-year-old Deon Boyd and his son, Deon Boyd Jr., were found dead.
