The normal high temperature in downtown L.A. for this time of year is 68 degrees, said David Sweet of the National Weather Service in Oxnard.

The forecast calls for the high in downtown L.A. Saturday to exceed 70 degrees and reach 74 on Sunday. The low will be around 50 degrees both days, Sweet said.

“Going to be sunny right on through Sunday,” Sweet said.

In Long Beach, the high is expected to be 69 on Saturday and 74 on Sunday with a low of 48 both days.

In Burbank, Sweet said the the high will be 74 Saturday and 76 Sunday.

And as for rain?

“Zero, zippo,” Sweet said.

But he said a wind event was headed to Southern California and would likely hit Monday with strong Santa Ana winds and low humidity.
