Fashion News: Rihanna, Sarah Burton, Middletons make Time 100

Time magazine’s ninth annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world hits newsstands Thursday. Among them are some fashion trendsetters, including Sarah Burton, who took over as creative director at Alexander McQueen and gowned Kate Middleton for the British royal wedding last year; that same Kate Middleton, now the duchess of Cambridge; her sister Pippa; Rihanna; and Sarah Blakely, the billionaire founder of Spanx. The writers are pretty interesting too: Sarah Jessica Parker on Burton, Katie Couric on Blakely, Stella McCartney on Rihanna. [Time]
