Your morning adorable
"This cat was part of a rescued litter found roadside about 6 months earlier. They were placed with our pet female rabbit who immediately took them in..." explains submitter rjlee.
Um...my heart hurts. Can we please please please forward this photo (from our much-loved Four-Legged Friends album) to every world leader?? If anything can give us hope for a peaceful future it is certainly interspecies snorgling. God bless us, every one!

Critters are WAY better than people. After reading the news today (and every day), I am completely and thoroughly disgusted with the human race! People are stupid and mean. Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Horses, etc, etc. are much nicer and have more common sense. Did you read the news today? Yes, people ARE stupid (and I'm no genuis myself!).

From the photographer: What was fascinating to our family was the way the rabbit literally took the kittens under her care. We would bottle-feed the kittens every day - which distracted the kittens from the rabbit. As soon as we were done - they would play, use the litter box that the rabbit uses, then snuggle with the rabbit. The rabbit groomed them, would play with them and then got a bit distraught when they started to disappear during the adoption process. We decided to keep the last one that always hid when strangers showed up - partly to keep bunny happy. We have seven other cats - but none were raised with a bunny and don't snuggle with her.
Yes Pam - we have a lot of cues we could take from our animal friends!
