OMG! Los Angeles is a Mecca for YouTube vloggers

Los Angeles, already the capital of movies and music, has earned another distinction as the epicenter for top YouTube vloggers.

Among the 72 most-subscribed to channels on YouTube, 26 were created by amateur videographers who live in Los Angeles.

This weekend, many of them are convening in Century City for Vidcon, the first YouTube conference organized by the site’s users with little input from the company itself.
