Join a chat with ‘Gotham’s’ Robin Lord Taylor, a.k.a. Penguin, on Tuesday

Of the gallery of villains maneuvering in the underworld of Fox’s “Gotham,” the drama that explores the origins of Batman and his many nemeses, none has been more intriguing than Oswald Cobblepot, the sneaky operator who is gradually transforming into the Penguin.

Robin Lord Taylor’s portrayal of Cobblepot has been one of the highlights of the series as he injects the bad guy with a dollop of evil that is at once menacing and gleeful. Taylor has added his own distinctive charisma to the bad guy, winning over fans and critics.

Taylor will be dropping by The Times’ studio on Tuesday at 2 p.m. PDT to discuss all things Gotham, how he feels about following in the web-like footprints of former Penguins Burgess Meredith and Danny DeVito, and perhaps a hint or two about things to come. “Gotham” has already been renewed for a second season.

He might even have a thing or two to say about his brief but memorable appearance on “The Walking Dead,” where he played Sam, one of the hapless captives whose throat was slashed by cannibals at the beginning of the fifth season.

If you have something you’d like to ask Taylor, leave your question in the comments section or tweet it to us using the hashtag #AskLATimes. See you Tuesday.
