60 Days In In the season finale the seven participants discuss their experiences in jail. 9 p.m. A&E

Red Nose Day Long popular in England, this fundraising event created by writer-director Richard Curtis (“Love Actually”) returns the U.S. with comedic and musical segments aimed at increasing awareness of those in need. The effort raised over $23 million in 2015. Among those slated to appear are Liam Neeson, Kristen Bell, Paul Rudd and Julianne Moore. Craig Ferguson hosts. 9 p.m. NBC

Showing Roots Set in 1977, this new TV movie revolves around two beauty shop employees -- one white (Maggie Grace) and one black (Uzo Aduba) -- in a small town who become close friends and, inspired by ABC’s broadcast of “Roots,” they embark on a crusade to integrate their community. Cicely Tyson, who starred in “Roots,” co-stars, along with Elizabeth McGovern and Adam Brody. 10 p.m. Lifetime
