Big Blue Live This new three-night event showcases the rejuvenation of Monterey Bay, Calif., where marine creatures now thrive in a once-endangered ecosystem. Tonight’s premiere follows migrating whales, sharks and various birds as they join sea otters and sea lions that call Monterey Bay home. 5 and 8 p.m. KOCE and KPBS, continues Tue. and Wed.

So You Think You Can Dance The top six dancers perform and four hopefuls will advance after one dancer from eat team (Stage and Street) is eliminated. 8 p.m. Fox

Fashion Police Melissa Rivers takes over the host chair once held by her mother, Joan, in this new episode. Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, Margaret Cho and NeNe Leakes also join in critiquing celebrity fashions from Sunday’s “2015 MTV Video Music Awards.” 8 and 9 p.m. E!

Rachael Ray’s Kids Cook-Off After making it through the first elimination, the seven remaining young chefs must put their own spin on a fast food classic. Food critic and Internet video star Daymon Patterson joins host Rachael Ray to judge the results. 8 p.m. Food

Awkward. The comedy returns for it’s fifth and final season with Ashley Rickards and Beau Mirchoff. 9 p.m. MTV

Significant Mother Jimmy and Lydia’s (Nathaniel Buzolic, Krista Allen) romance seems to take a step back when Lydia’s mother (guest star Linda Gray), shows up unannounced. 9:30 p.m. KTLA

Faking It A new principal tries to get the high school back on track while Karma and Amy (Katie Stevens, Rita Volk) try to repair their friendship. 9:33 p.m. MTV

Running Wild With Bear Grylls Michael B. Jordan begins his adventure with Grylls by dropping into rough waters off the coast of Wales before they make their way up the coast and to the top of the mountains. 10 p.m. NBC

The Whispers Claire (Lily Rabe) and the other members on the team scramble into action as Drill’s mysterious endgame finally is put into motion in the season finale. 10 p.m. ABC

POV A new episode called “The Storm Makers” provides a harrowing report on Cambodia’s human trafficking underworld by focusing on a 16-year-old peasant girl sold into slavery and two traffickers — known as “storm makers” for the havoc they cause in the lives of their victims — who move poor and illiterate people across the border. 10 p.m. KOCE

Todrick This unscripted new series is centered on one-time “American Idol” semi-finalist Todrick Hall, a 30-year-old Texan who has become a YouTube sensation thanks to his strikingly original videos. 10:04 p.m. MTV
