Fox sets fall premiere dates for new and returning shows including ‘Son of Zorn’ and ‘Lethal Weapon’

Fox has set the premiere dates for its new and returning series for the upcoming fall season.

Among the new series the network will be showcasing are adaptations of the films “The Exorcist” and “Lethal Weapon,” and an animated/live-action hybrid comedy “Son of Zorn,” about an (animated) warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean who returns to Orange County to win back his (live-action) ex-wife, played by Cheryl Hines (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”).

8-9 p.m.: “Gotham” (Season 3 premiere)

9-10 p.m.: “Lucifer” (Season 2 premiere)

Tuesday, Sept. 20

8:30-9 p.m.: “New Girl” (Season 6 premiere)

9-10 p.m.: “Scream Queens” (Season 2 premiere)

Wednesday, Sept. 21
