The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner is taking place in Washington this weekend, and the Hollywood quotient for the event normally dominated by D.C.-based journalists is higher than ever this year. Every media outlet on the guest list has used its pull to invite famous faces from the world of TV and movies.

There will be plenty of movie stars (George Clooney) and power players (Steven Spielberg), but a look through the list of celebrity guests reported by Politico reveals that TV stars outnumber other stars this year.

Yes, Lindsay Lohan will be there. But so will several members of the ‘Modern Family’ cast: Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen. Christa Miller will also be there, along with her ‘Cougar Town’ boss, Bill Lawrence.

‘The New Girl’ star Zooey Descanel will be a guest of Bloomberg (the news service, not the New York Mayor), ‘Parks & Recreation’s’ Rashida Jones will be a guest of Fortune magazine and reality TV queens Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, will be guests of Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren.

CBS is bringing the stars from its own family of networks, including ‘The Good Wife’s’ Christine Baranski, ‘Hawaii Five-O’s’ Daniel Dae Kim and Claire Danes from ‘Homeland,’ which airs on fellow Viacom channel Showtime.

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage of ‘Mythbusters’ will be at the Agence France-Presse table, while TV hosts Martha Stewart and Kelly Ripa join USA Today’s table. The newspaper is also bringing Johnny Galecki of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and Kelli Garner of ‘Pan Am.’

Eva Longoria of ‘Desperate Housewives’ will go with Politico, and William Levy of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will be with People. Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas will represent ‘Once Upon a Time’ at the NPR table while ‘Dancing With the Stars’ winner J.R. Martinez will be at the Newsweek/Daily Beast table.

The New Yorker is bringing the ‘Portlandia’ duo of Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (and ‘Parks & Rec’s’ Aziz Ansari too).

And finally the Huffington Post will have ‘True Blood’s’ Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin, ‘Saturday Night Live’s’ Nasim Pedrad and Darren Criss of ‘Glee’ at its table.

Jimmy Kimmel is going to be up on the dias along with, you know, President Obama, who could be a TV star himself after ‘slow jamming’ the news with Jimmy Fallon this week.

For those who want to see all that TV-star wattage gathered in one place, you won’t see it on E! The dinner and the red carpet arrivals will be covered on C-Span on Saturday, as it is every year.
