The last time the Axl Rose-led Guns N’ Roses played with original drummer Steven Adler, it did not end well. The band’s 1990 Farm Aid set has gone down in rock history as a bit of a train wreck, and Adler’s supposed poor performance ultimately led to his ouster from the group.

Adler was not part of the reunited GNR lineup that headlined Coachella this year and that is currently on tour, but the band and the drummer at least appear to have buried the hatchet.

Adler, according to footage circling online, joined Axl, Slash and Duff onstage during a show in Cincinnati on Wednesday night, the first time he’d played with this version of the group in more than 25 years.

Adler played two songs with the band -- “Out Ta Get Me” and “My Michelle,” each to giddy fan reactions, as seen from footage taken at the show.

Adler last appeared with the group (sans Axl) in 2012 for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Izzy Stradlin, the band’s original rhythm guitarist, has yet to appear with the reunited lineup onstage.

Tickets are currently on sale for the latter of GNR’s Aug. 18-19 sets at Dodger Stadium. Though the band recently played a surprise gig at the Troubadour and two mixed-recepetion Coachella shows in April, GNR is still a must-see for any L.A. hard rock fan.
