Sandra Lee has returned home after undergoing a double mastectomy last week.

The Food Network star, who was diagnosed with breast cancer two months ago, was welcomed back to her Lily Pond home by her 10-year partner, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and their exotic birds.

“Home after a long week in the hospital, so happy to be in my own backyard. There is no place like home! #‎HappyMemorialDay,” Lee wrote on Facebook, sharing a photo of herself with Cuomo and her white umbrella cuckatoo, Phoenix, who want “to cuddle and cuddle and cuddle!”

“Today is an exciting day!” an earlier post on her page read. “Sandra is going home to Lily Pond with her sister Kimber and Governor Cuomo. She is most excited to sleep in her own bed — and see [her birds] Phoenix and Halo when she wakes up!”

Lee, 48, went public with her DCIS, or ductal carcinoma in situ, diagnosis on “Good Morning America” earlier this month and revealed that she had undergone a lumpectomy and was told to do radiation therapy for six to eight weeks.

“Both the radiologist and the doctor said, ‘You’re a ticking time bomb,’ and they both said, ‘I would just get them both done,’” she said of undergoing the major surgery.

Cuomo, who has been with the chef since 2005 and lives with her, has been by her side during the process. After the double mastectomy six days ago, Cuomo took to Facebook to say that Lee was “doing as well as can be expected and has begun the post-surgery recovery process.”

On Sunday, the chef’s team said that she was doing better “but she still has a ways to go.” They also thanked Lee’s fans and supporters on social media and several celebrities by name, including “GMA’s” Robin Roberts, singer Elton John and husband David Furnish, actress Rita Wilson, actress and breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate, singer Jon Bon Jovi, actress Judith Light, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart, celebrity chef Mario Batali, newscaster Bryant Gumbel and his wife Hillary, actress Jane Fonda and TV personality Dr. Oz Mehmet.
