On the other side of the size spectrum, Victoria’s Secret is the target of a petition drive on Change.org that targets online and in-store ads that show photos of underwear-clad models and the tagline “Perfect Body.” “Victoria’s Secret’s new advertisements play on women’s insecurities, and send out a damaging message by positioning the words ‘The Perfect Body’ across models who have exactly the same, very slim body type,” says the petition, which asks the retailer to cease and desist. Valentino Garavani has a new book due out in the U.S. on Nov. 11, “Valentino: At the Emperor’s Table.” It’s all about the fashion designer’s opulent lifestyle and the joy he takes in entertaining -- not a surprise coming from the man who hosted Kanye and Kim Kardashian West’s pre-wedding brunch. On Tuesday night, he signed copies at a party in London, at which he likened his approach to entertaining to designing an evening gown: “It’s joyful beauty,” he told WWD. [WWD]

H&M released a list of bricks-and-mortar stores that will carry the Alexander Wang capsule collection, slated to go on sale online at 7 p.m. Pacific time on Nov. 6.
