Boys’ basketball: Larry Drew II is signed by Miami Heat
Former Woodland Hill Taft and UCLA guard Larry Drew II has been signed by the Miami Heat.
Drew, the 2008 City Section player of the year, appeared in 11 games with the Heat during the Orlando and Las Vegas summer league.
He spent the 2013-14 season with Miami’s NBA Development League affiliate.
He’s the oldest son of NBA assistant coach Larry Drew, who’s an assistant with Cleveland.
