Clayton Kershaw will start on the mound Thursday in the Dodgers’ second game of the exhibition season, Manager Don Mattingly said.

The Dodgers will face the Chicago White Sox that day at Camelback Ranch.

The two teams face each other Wednesday in their Cactus League openers. Nonroster pitcher Erik Bedard will start that game for the Dodgers.

Hyun-Jin Ryu is tentatively scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday. Ryu threw on flat ground Friday after missing two days of workouts with tightness in his back.

Right-hander Joel Peralta could also throw off a mound Monday. Peralta, who experienced discomfort in his throwing shoulder shortly before camp, still hasn’t thrown a bullpen session.
