LAKERS VS. MEMPHIS

When: 7:30 PST.

Where: Staples Center.

On the air: TV: TWC SportsNet, TWC Deportes; Radio: 710, 1330.

Update: Memphis sits atop the Western Conference after a 107-91 home victory over the Clippers. Marc Gasol had 30 points and 12 rebounds against the Clippers, another step toward becoming one of the NBA’s best centers. The Grizzlies’ defense, however, is the main reason for their strong start — they are third in the league, allowing 92.4 points a game. Kobe Bryant had 28 points on 10-for-26 shooting as the Lakers lost in Memphis two weeks ago, 107-102.
