Tamera Mowry, a co-hostess on “The Real” talk show, and her husband, journalist Adam Housley, have spent $1.425 million on a spot in Playa del Rey – and by spot we mean vacant lot.

Yes, that’s the high cost of real estate in the airport-close beach city, long popular with sports stars and owners including the late Lakers owner Jerry Buss. The 5,000-square-foot plot is in a residential area, so it would seem a building project is at hand for the Northern California couple.

Mowry, 36, starred in the ‘90s sitcom “Sister, Sister” with her identical twin Tia Mowry. Since then she’s had stints on “Strong Medicine,” “Roommates” and “Things We Do for Love,” among other shows.

Housley, 43, is a Fox News correspondent and president of his family’s Century Oaks Winery. He is a former professional baseball player.

The transaction took place outside of the Multiple Listing Service.
