Remember, you’ve been warned, everything in pencil.

The Dodgers have announced their roster move of the moment, and no, it’s not even to officially reveal the trade of Juan Uribe.

Wednesday afternoon they brought back outfielder Chris Heisey from triple-A Oklahoma City – for the third time this season – and designated reliever Sergio Santos for assignment.

This could all be connected to the day’s later expected multi-player trade with the Atlanta Braves for Uribe, but for now it ends the local career of Santos.

The Dodgers were hopeful the former Santa Ana Mater Dei High School star could return to his peak years, when he was the closer for the White Sox and saved 30 games in 2011. It never happened, which is not to say Santos was terrible – 4.73 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 10.1 strikeouts per 10 innings in 11 games.

He was at least good enough to seemingly continue playing somewhere, whether he is claimed by another team or clears waivers and agrees to return to Oklahoma City.

At triple A, Heisey is tied for fourth in the Pacific Coast League with 10 home runs in 28 games, while batting .234 with 19 RBI. In his two previous call-ups, he appeared in three games for the Dodgers, going one for five with five walks.
