Football: Gardena Serra wins passing tournament at Los Alamitos

Don’t anyone doubt that Gardena Serra is loaded with top skill position players once again.

The Cavaliers won the Orlando Scandrick-Jerron Johnson passing tournament on Saturday at Los Alamitos, defeating Cathedral in the finals.

Let’s count the players who stood out _ Max Williams, Kobe Smith, Merlin Robertson, Tysyn Parker, Brian Eddison, quarterback Jalani Eason.

Serra defeated Upland in the semifinals.

Serra will be one of the top schools competing next month at the Edison tournament on July 9.

In the Conejo Valley tournament final, Calabasas, led by QB Tristan Gebbia, defeated Moorpark in the championship. Moorpark’s QB was former Chatsworth standout Tyger Goslin.
