Tyra Banks is ready to part with her model-perfect estate in Beverly Hills

Share

Model and television personality Tyra Banks has put her romantic Beverly Hills estate on the market at $7.75 million.

Built in 1926, the Spanish Colonial-style home has been renovated while maintaining key architectural elements. Vintage French doors and hardware, clerestory windows, and travertine stone and maple plank floors are among the details. Hand-crafted tiles decorate the outdoor fountains and stairways in the main house.

Some 6,000 square feet of living space includes a media room, a library, a sun room, a formal dining room, a gym, four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two partial baths.

The master suite features a sitting room, city views, a model-worthy walk-in closet and a safe room.

The outdoor kitchen, seating for 12 and a fire-pit flank the swimming pool. A loggia and rolling lawn complete the grounds.

Banks, 41, has been a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl and a Victoria’s Secret model. She has been an executive producer and judge on “America’s Next Top Model” since 2003 and co-hosts the 2015 series “FabLife.”

She bought the house in 2004 for $3.085 million, public records show, and has been living in it. Banks owns another property in the L.A. area and New York. She is selling because she has found another property in Malibu Hills.

Among previous owners was actress and William Randolph Hearst companion Marion Davies.

Heidi Lake of Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
