Alec Baldwin will soon be telling his story in more than 140 ticked-off characters: Dude’s writing a book.

The “30 Rock” star’s memoir, to be titled “Nevertheless,” has a tentative publication date of fall 2016 with HarperCollins’ Harper imprint, the publisher said in a statement Friday.

Not suprisingly, the book promises to mix Baldwin’s (typically strong) opinions on the media and politics in with his personal stories.

“In this memoir he writes about his family, lovers, friends and enemies, confronts his former demons, relives the highs and lows of his career, and opens up in an unflinchingly honest way about his life and times,” Harper honcho Jonathan Burnham said in the statement.

Those are pretty big promises to live up to for Baldwin, who according to the publisher will write the book himself. As in, no ghost writer.

Still, we expect big things from the man who, after being arrested on suspicion of bicycling the wrong way on a one-way street, characterized New York City as a “mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.”

Like him or not, Baldwin does know how to turn a phrase.
