Bobby Brown spoke out Monday about the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, his only child with the late Whitney Houston.

"Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," the R&B singer said in a statement distributed by his lawyer. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."

His attorney Christopher Brown further acknowledged Krissy's passing, which the Houston family had confirmed Sunday.

"Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven," the lawyer said in a statement. "Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has succumb[ed] to her injuries."

Dionne Warwick had been scheduled to appear Sunday -- along with 50 Cent -- on "Watch What Happens Live," where host Andy Cohen asked her what she wanted the world to know about her young cousin.

"Oh my, do we have enough time?," she said. "She was a sweetheart and she will be missed that's for sure. And she was a good girl... She was a good little girl, she really was." Warwick credited her family's faith with giving them the strength to go in the face of tragedy. "She's in much better hands now."

Family friends and other celebs paid their respects publicly as well, with Oprah Winfrey keeping her sentiment simple.

As of Monday morning, friend Tyler Perry remained silent on social media, letting stand his wish from earlier this month that Krissi be shown "some decency and respect" in her final days. But others weighed in.

"Selma" filmmaker Ava DuVernay spoke for many as she captured a frustrating aspect of Bobbi Kristina's life.
