Jimmy Kimmel shares pics of baby girl, says he takes ‘10,000’ a day

Jimmy Kimmel’s daughter has made her late-night debut!

The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host and wife Molly McNearney welcomed daughter Jane on July 10, and he introduced his baby girl to audiences on Monday by devoting his opening monologue to her.

“I’ve been taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 pictures of her a day and she’s finally had enough of it. She thinks I’m with TMZ now,” the proud papa said.

Kimmel, 46, had been on vacation for the last two weeks but said he made the best of his time off: He painted a mirror, grew a beard and had a baby.

“You know how we did it? We made it out of sex,” he quipped. “My wife is doing fine. I’m fine too. I was so brave. ... I cried a little but I didn’t scream.”

Then he explained how his third child got her name.

“We had a little girl. We named her after my grandmother. Her name is Grandma Kimmel,” he joked before reassuring fans that her name is actually Jane. (Previous suggestions included “The Riddler” and/or “Karate.”)

The host went on to share five pictures of the tiny tot -- some of her “freshly out of the womb” with “clown makeup” and another one of her looking “drunk as a skunk.”

“Her head is the size of a plum. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce at birth. Twenty inches long. Just above the legal limit,” he jested. “She’s a keeper -- you know, sometimes, they make you thrown them back.”

Jane is Kimmel’s first child with McNearney, a writer on his show whom he married in July 2013. He has a 20-year-old son and a 22-year-old daughter from his 14-year marriage to Gina Kimmel, but conceded that he’d forgotten quite a bit since having his other kids.
