As Joan Rivers remained hospitalized Sunday, her daughter, Melissa, thanked the public for the outpouring of good wishes surrounding the sharp-tongued comedy star’s health.

“Thank you for your continued love and support. We are keeping our fingers crossed,” Melissa Rivers said in a statement.

Joan Rivers, 81, was rushed to a hospital in New York on Thursday after having complications during an outpatient surgery and was in serious condition, her daughter said Friday.

A spokeswoman for Mount Sinai Hospital said she had no update on her condition midday Sunday.

Two of Rivers’ “Fashion Police” co-hosts have turned to Twitter in recent days to post prayers.

“4 the first time in years I got down on my knees & prayed tonight! I encourage U 2 do the same,” Kelly Osbourne, who has referred to Rivers as her honorary grandmother, posted late Friday.

Giuliana Rancic said Saturday that she was praying for Rivers and her daughter: “Even though Joan’s the strongest woman I know, every single prayer counts. I love you, Joan.”

“Please keep praying for Joan,” Rancic added Sunday morning.

Other celebrities have also been sharing their feelings about Rivers on Twitter.

“We can’t lose Joan,” said “Girls” star Lena Dunham. “All love and healing wishes to Her Majesty Joan Rivers- being ripped a new one by you is an honor to be treasured.”
