Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes has second child -- a baby girl

Supermodel Doutzen Kroes has welcomed her newest little angel: a baby girl named Myllena Mae.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel and husband Sunnery James, whom she married in 2010, welcomed their daughter at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holland, her rep told The Times, adding that the child arrived a few days past her expected due date.

“Both of our families are beyond thrilled to finally meet our beautiful and healthy little girl,” the couple said in a joint statement. “She’s a true blessing!”

The Dutch model and the DJ are already parents to a 3-year-old boy, Phyllon Joy. But Kroes had wanted to add a girl to their brood.

“I wanted a girl so badly -- I had it confirmed by two doctors!” she says in the upcoming September issue of Glamour (via People), for which she bared her burgeoning belly in a photo spread.

Kroes, 29, announced her pregnancy in February with a nude Instagram photo and took to Twitter on Wednesday to elaborate on her latest addition.

“A miracle saw the light of day this morning. Welcome Myllena Mae. Mommy, Daddy and brother Phyllon are super proud!” she wrote, sharing a family photo of her husband and son cradling the newborn.

Kroes, who’s going on seven years as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, is expected to fulfill her duties on the runway in November during the high-profile annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which is set to take place in London and will air Dec. 2 on CBS, her rep said.

“We’ll see how that goes,” the model tells Glamour about returning to the runway. “I don’t like to stress about [my body]. I look to my sister, a nutritionist, to help me lose the weight.”

Should she decide to walk, she wouldn’t be the first model to hit the runway after giving birth: Former Angels Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr, as well as current Angel Adriana Lima and several others, famously (or infamously) have hit the catwalk shortly after having a baby.
