Don’t plan on seeing Joey and Pacey rekindle their angsty teen romance any time soon. Or Joey and Dawson, for that matter. Katie Holmes has seemingly shut down any plans for a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion.

The “Ray Donovan” actress, who costarred as tomboy Joey Potter on the WB teen drama from 1998 to 2003, talked about the Capeside denizens during a Yahoo! Style Sessions with Joe Zee.

“I don’t know, like, does it work today?” the 36-year-old said of getting the coming-of-age cast back together. “I don’t want them to grow up, you know it is kind of like your parents, they never get out of their 50s, that’s where they are.”

Holmes admitted that when she and costars James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams signed on for Kevin Williamson’s drama, they didn’t realize it would be such a part of the pop culture zeitgeist.

“We just did it, we all enjoyed it. It was of a certain time, it was pre-Internet,” she said. “There was an innocence there.”

The fashionista, who led fans to believe that she’d chopped off her hair for this year’s Met Gala, said she still keeps in touch “every now or then” with a few of her costars.

“I just saw Michelle, I just saw her in ‘Cabaret,’ she was amazing,” Holmes said. “So we all run into each other now and then.”

Holmes is making her way to TV once again in Season 3 of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan.” She’ll play Paige Finney, daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney, and her character will get tangled up with Liev Schreiber’s titular character when her father enlists his services.

“It has been a wonderful experience because the show is already established, I’ve been a fan of the show,” she said. “My character is a challenge for me because she’s a bit of a femme fatale, which I’ve really never played before. She’s very strong, and she is complicated. I don’t even know how to describe her. But it’s a wonderful experience working with the cast, and I’m really enjoying it.”
