Max Greenfield of ‘New Girl’ welcomes a baby boy
“New Girl” star Max Greenfield has welcomed his second child.
It’s a new boy for “New Girl” star Max Greenfield.
The actor, known as the mononymous Schmidt on the Fox comedy, welcomed his second child with wife Tess Sanchez on Monday, the couple told E! News.
Greenfield’s rep did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation.
Their new little guy goes by the name Ozzy James Greenfield, the site said, so we’re thorougly lamenting their decision not to pass on the Schmidt name.
Ozzy joins older sister Lily, born in 2010. Greenfield and the casting exec wed in 2008, before the actor broke out as the one-liner wielding star of the ensemble comedy. His costar Zooey Deschanel welcomed her first child with new husband Jacob Pechenik this summer.
“New Girl” will return to Fox midseason, but in the meantime the 34-year-old will be checking in to FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel,” which premieres Oct. 7. It appears that he’s creepily dyed his hair blond for the role.
