Alexis Bledel and Co. have ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ reunion

Somehow, they found their way back to each other: The cast of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” has reunited for brunch.

Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn got together earlier this week for a quick bite, according to pics posted by Ferrera and Tamblyn.

Tamblyn, 31, who played feisty Tibby in the films and currently stars in “Two and a Half Men,” posted the star-studded selfie evidence on Instagram and added this caption: “Brunch with my best ... #sisterhood”

“Always a good day when I’m with my sisters #DeLosPantalones Love these amazing women,” wrote Ferrera, 30, of “Ugly Betty,” who also shared the snapshot on her WhoSay account. She played Carmen in the films while Lively played free-spirited Bridget and Bledel played reserved Lena.

The ladies were in their late teens and early 20s when they starred in the 2005 and 2008 movies based on Ann Brashares’ young-adult novels. In them, the quartet of varying body types keeps in touch by passing around one pair of “magical” jeans during their summers apart.

And they remained friends both on screen and off.

“We’ve been a part of each other’s lives in really meaningful ways that go beyond making a movie together,” Ferrera told Entertainment Weekly in 2013. “We almost forget that we made a movie together because our friendship was created from so many other experiences. The fact that our friendship started in this beautiful film that was so meaningful to all of us and to our lives and our careers and to our friendship, we are always so grateful for it.”

Each actress has moved on from the franchise and gone on to star in other name-making roles (“Gilmore Girls,” “Gossip Girl,” “Ugly Betty” and “House, M.D.”). They’re all hitched too: Bledel, 33, to her “Mad Men” costar Vincent Kartheiser, Lively, 27, to “Green Lantern’s” Ryan Reynolds, Ferrera to Ryan Piers Williams and Tamblyn to David Cross of “Arrested Development.”

Another sequel, “Sisterhood Everlasting,” which is based on the fifth novel in the series, was announced in April. It’s set 10 years later, but there’s no word on whether the original stars will reprise their roles. However, it doesn’t sound like Ferrera thought it was completely off the table.

“The characters are all basically the ages that we are now,” she told EW. “I know that the four of us would love [to make another film], and it would be wonderful.”
