Halle Berry makes her sultry debut on social media with sexy jungle selfie

Halle Berry is getting a lot more social — online, that is.

The fiercely private Academy Award winner has been setting up social media accounts all week, joining Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to connect with her followers.

The mother of two didn't really hold back with her debut either, sharing what appeared to be a nude selfie in the jungle for her first tweet on Tuesday and proving that she's already mastered the art of the social media attention-grab.

"Hi everyone..." Berry captioned the sultry snap that featured a back view of her tousled hair, toned arms and tiny waist.

The "Extant" star's bio featured a quote from 19th century author Henry David Thoreau --"It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see -Thoreau" -- and a link to her brand new Instagram account. There, Berry elaborated more on her social media philosophy and posted the same sultry snap.

"Hi everyone. Welcome! Today is a very exciting day for me..." the 49-year-old wrote. "I'm looking forward to sharing our world through images that reflect my emotions and perceptions. I am in awe of photography and its ability to capture and reflect this extraordinary world that we live in. I'm excited to share with you my love of nature, the arts, fashion and much more in the hopes that the images will inspire, promote conversation and bring you joy. <3 Halle"

Incidentally, the mama bear made no mention of sharing images of her two children, daughter Nahla and son Maceo. (Berry campaigned against the shooting and distribution of paparazzi images of celebrity kids.)

As of press time, Berry had more than 13,300 followers on Twitter and 98,100 followers on Instagram.

Among those she was following were musicians Adele, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Earth Wind & Fire and Prince, and fashion accounts for Helmut Lange, Free People and Vogue magazine.
