Jimmy Fallon chips his front tooth while trying to heal his hurt finger

Jimmy Fallon is falling apart.

"The Tonight Show" host should probably just stop touching things, at least until the end of summer, because he keeps getting hurt. This time, he's taken a shot to the mouth.

"Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury," he said Friday on Facebook, showing off, well, a newly chipped front tooth. "Thank you Dr. Jobe DDS! #BestSummerEver."

An episode of "The Tonight Show" was canceled in late June after Fallon's finger was nearly separated from the rest of him.

"Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)!" he said on Twitter at the time. "Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)." He was hospitalized and needed minor surgery.

This time, however, the show will go on: Not only did Fallon promise a new episode, the selfie he posted to social media showed him already in the dentist's chair.
