Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer’s made-for-each-other friendship is going to play out on the big screen: The actresses are writing a screenplay together for a film in which they’ll costar.

Yes, this is real life!

The Oscar winner and the 34-year-old “Inside Amy Schumer” star -- she of the high-profile tumbles and she of the red carpet antics -- will play sisters in the comedy, which they’re nearly done writing, Lawrence casually told the New York Times.

“Amy and I were creatively made for each other,” the “Hunger Games” star said. “We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up.”

Schumer’s sister Kim Caramele, who worked with her on her Emmy-nominated Comedy Central series and cowrote this summer’s “Trainwreck,” will also contribute to the script.

Lawrence, 25, who was recently declared the world’s highest-paid actress, said they met only a few months ago after she saw Shumer’s film, which hit wide release July 17.

“I emailed her after I saw ‘Trainwreck’ and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you,’” Lawrence said. “We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting.”

The two hit it off immediately, and earlier this month the unfiltered actresses set some serious Internet friendship goals when photos surfaced of them jet-skiing together. The #FOMO is real (and certainly more real than Lawrence getting caught in bed with a cussing Kris Jenner.)

Schumer, 34, invited Lawrence to hang out with her and some high school friends in the Hamptons, the comedian explained on “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.”

“I was like, ‘Oh, we’re going on a boat tomorrow. You should come.’ It was kind of a hypothetical,” she said. “And she was like, ‘I think I’m coming.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God!’”
