Dina Lohan avoided jail when she was sentenced in New York court on Tuesday and was ordered to serve 100 hours of community service, pay more than $3,000 in fines and participate in an anti-drunk-driving program.

The mother of oft-embattled star Lindsay Lohan appeared at Long Island’s Nassau County First District Court with her attorney to receive the order, according to the Associated Press.

During the sentencing, a judge said (via TMZ) that “the only person responsible for this ordeal is Miss Lohan. She is just lucky nobody was killed. She may not be as lucky next time”

To which Lohan replied, “There will not be a next time.”

“I just want to put this behind me,” she said following the sentencing, NBC News reported.

Last April, Lohan pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated drunk driving and speeding, which earned her the community service before the sentencing hearing.

The 51-year-old’s license was also revoked for a year and an ignition interlock device will be installed in her car. The judge also said he would sentence her to alcohol-education classes.

She’ll have to play by the rules for a year, the judge said, as a condition of her discharge.

Lohan was arrested in September after going 77 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to police. She reportedly blew 0.20% on a blood-alcohol breath test, which is more than twice the state’s legal limit of 0.08%. The arrest earned her a mugshot that was promptly compared to the litter of mugshots her daughter accumulated over the years.

She was charged with aggravated DWI, as opposed to simple DUI, because of her heightened intoxication, according to previous reports.
