Lauren Conrad may have designed her bridesmaids’ dresses, but when it came to the one-of-a-kind wedding gown, she let some big names do the heavy lifting.

The Badgley Mischka Couture creation stars -- along with the bride and groom -- in the upcoming issue of Us Weekly. In one shot, the sleeveless number’s lacy train seems to go on for days, puddling at the fashionista’s feet.

Conrad and William Tell, who met two years ago on a blind date, got married over the weekend in Santa Ynez, Calif. They’d been engaged since last October.

“I am officially Lauren Tell,” she tweeted Wednesday.

“I was so thrilled to have Mark [Badgley] and James [Mischka] work on my dress. Not only have I been a longtime fan of their designs and aesthetic, they are also the nicest guys,” Conrad said in a statement. “They were so sweet and made the process really enjoyable. I love my dress.”

That said, MTV’s reading of the Us article hints at perhaps one bump along the way: The dress originally had long sleeves, a look Conrad decided she couldn’t pull off. According to the magazine, she actually considered cutting them off herself.

The gown was two shades of white and, Us said, adorned with “lace, crystals, pearls, and baby glass beads.” Personal touches like vintage hankies and homemade apple pie were part of event.

“I don’t know that I have ever been as happy as I was walking down that aisle!” she told the magazine.

Conrad “wanted a simple and classic yet glamorous gown, which paired perfectly with the Old Hollywood element we love,” the designers said Wednesday, describing her style as “young, modern and sophisticated.”

So much for Allure calling her “basic”?
