Scout Willis gets community service after alcohol, fake-ID arrest

Share

Scout Willis’ legal woes could disappear like an open container when the cops go by if she completes two days of community service, a judge decided Tuesday.

Willis, middle daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was arrested in June in New York City on suspicion of drinking alcohol in public and presenting a fake ID to law enforcement, both misdemeanors. The Brown University student’s beverage of choice at the Union Square subway station was a wee Pakistani beer, the New York Daily News reported the day after the arrest.

After first presenting a fake ID to police, Willis ultimately ‘fessed up with her real name and California ID, police said.
On Tuesday, lawyer Stacey Richman said prosecutors “took a logical approach to assessing the situation” in agreeing to no jail time or probation in exchange for the community service.

Willis, who was 20 when she was arrested June 4, turned 21 on July 20. She did not have to be present in court.
