Stevie Wonder welcomes baby No. 9

Stevie Wonder is now a father of nine, yes, nine. The legendary soul singer has welcomed another baby girl.

Wonder, 64, and girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy are now parents to daughter Nia, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly. She’s the second child for the couple.

In November, rumors surfaced that Wonder was expecting triplets but the “Isn’t She Lovely” singer appeared on “The View” to shut down speculation about babies No. 10 and No. 11.

“The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December. Her name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose,” the soul star said. “And rumors spread. Like I said in the song ‘Superstition,’ ‘When you believe in things you don’t understand, you suffer.’ So, you know, it’s a bunch of bull.”

The Oscar and Grammy winner has two children from his 11-year marriage to second ex-wife Kai Millard Morris, and has fathered five others with ex-girlfriends.

The kids range in age from 1 to 39, previous reports said.

Wonder’s rep did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
