The end of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's marriage doesn't necessarily mean the end of their Twitter banter -- and it sounds like they'll both drink to that!

The country superstars, who upset droves of fans this week when they announced their divorce after four years of marriage, have reopened their social media lines of communication despite more or less wiping the other's existence from their profile pages.

The duo's exchanges came Friday amid rumors swirling that each spouse had cheated on the other. While together, the golden couple often swapped tweets about outrageous headlines regarding their love lives, scandals and children they didn't have.

The first conversation was overtly promotional, which led many to believe some behind-the-scenes machinations might be at play. "The Voice" judge, 39, tweeted at his ex-wife that he was shocked people had not yet bought her Pistol Annies collaborator Ashley Monroe's new album, "The Blade."

Lambert, 31, replied saying she couldn't believe it because "it is the best work she has ever done," sending Monroe love from both her and Shelton. Monroe also sang "Lonely Tonight" with Shelton on his last album.

On Wednesday, Lambert performed with Monroe at a listening party in Nashville just two days after finalizing the divorce, according to the Associated Press.

The next exchange was initiated by Lambert, with the "Mama's Broken Heart" singer tweeting a photo of Shelton pushing a baby stroller.

"I knew it.... You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!" she wrote. To that, Shelton replied: "Ha!!!!! Busted... I wasn't JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin... "

When fans called out the jokester for what they perceived as pre-set tweets and a charade, the singer quipped right back tweeting: "Nope.. Not at all buddy" and "Well rest assured not one [expletive] is given."

The image Lambert posted came via "Entertainment Tonight", which posted footage of Shelton putting the pram in a car. When asked by a photographer if he had any regrets about the split, the singer quipped: "Yeah, man. I shoulda drank more today."

"He knew the paparazzi was there and was just being funny," his rep told the site.
