Tyra Banks has something new to smize about: The supermodel-turned-businesswoman is now a mom -- and not just to a house full of prospective models.

The "America's Next Top Model" maven and boyfriend Erik Asla welcomed son York Banks Asla via surrogate, she announced late Wednesday on Instagram. The fierce 42-year-old posted a simple photo of a baby cap on the photo-sharing site to reveal her first-time mom status.

"The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here," Banks wrote.

"He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."

The former "FabLife" star and Asla, a fine art and fashion photographer, have been linked for more than two years. No word yet on what inspired the tot's first name.

Banks recently spoke about her struggle with infertility, telling People that she tried IVF procedures to conceive.
