Demi Lovato confirms the obvious: Nothing in common with Miley Cyrus

Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus may have been pals back in their Disney Channel days, but at the ripe old age of 22, they’ve drifted apart.

Sure, they passive-aggressively unfollowed each other on social media back in March, but Lovato sealed the deal publicly during a radio interview in Boston.

“Um, yeah -- that, um, we’re, we’re like, we’re acquaintances,” the “Heart Attack” and “Skyscraper” singer said Monday on 103.3 AMP radio’s “The TJ Show” after a listener asked if they were still friends.

“It’s life, and people change, and, you know, I don’t have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best.”

So, not aggressive, but not exactly passive anymore either. Lovato of course spent months in rehab a few years ago, coming to grips with depression, cutting and eating disorders and ultimately emerging with a renewed perspective on life.

Cyrus has been doing things like twerking, celebrating weed and Molly, adopting a pet pig, dancing around in a huge fake butt and ticking off the government of Mexico.

Still, nothing in common? Really? Why, Miley marked her 22nd birthday on Saturday at a West Hollywood club with a cake decorated like a massive pepperoni pizza, the birthday girl decked out in a massive amount of neon color and a mechanical bull in the shape of a massive pink penis.

Plus a Schwarzenegger -- Patrick Schwarzenegger -- in a pilot’s jumpsuit, People reported.

Meanwhile, Lovato was tweeting Monday, “I feel like I don’t fit in with Hollyweird at all and I’m actually kind of proud/happy about that.”
