Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s love story keeps getting better.

The “Maleficent” star revealed in an interview with Australia’s TV Week that she and her fiancé — the father of their sizable brood — kept their romance alive while they were working on opposite sides of the world by exchanging handwritten love letters.

A love note from Brad Pitt!? We’ll take it!

The mother of six said that while she was in Australia directing “Unbroken,” her World War II Louis Zamperini biopic, and while Pitt was filming his Nazi period drama “Fury” in England, the pair decided to take a page out of their scripts and keep in touch the old-fashioned way.

“He was supportive from a distance, and it was quite romantic in a way,” the 39-year-old said.

“We decided to be of that time, when we could imagine he was in the European theater and I was in the Pacific theater, and we wrote handwritten letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then,” the Oscar-winner continued.

A penny for your thoughts, Brangelina....

No word on how long it took said letters to arrive or whether the two kept in touch using modern technology as well, however.

“Unbroken” will be Jolie’s second project at the helm, and she’ll direct her longtime love in her third, Universal’s “By the Sea.” Jolie also wrote the screenplay for the “intimate, character-driven drama” and will co-produce and costar in it with Pitt, Movies Now reported.

It’s the first time the A-listers and humanitarians will appear on-screen together since 2005, when they costarred in their infamous relationship catalyst, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Pitt and first wife Jennifer Aniston’s divorce was finalized a few months after the movie hit theaters.
