Sara Gilbert, Linda Perry are parents of a new baby boy

Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry have welcomed their first child together, a son.

The baby, Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry, was born on Saturday, “The Talk” co-host Julie Chen announced Monday on the show, where Alyssa Milano was filling Gilbert’s chair.

“Both mother and child are doing well,” Chen said.

Then Sharon Osbourne held up a photo of the sleeping newborn, saying, “Divine!” before cradling the photo and rocking it as if it were the baby himself.

“Our #TalkBaby is finally here!,” the show said on Twitter. “Congratulations @THEsaragilbert & @RealLindaPerry, we love you so much!!!”

This is the third child for Gilbert, who has a son and daughter, 10-year-old Levi and 7-year-old Sawyer, with former partner Allison Adler. The onetime “Roseanne” actress carried Sawyer and Rhodes. She had announced her pregnancy on the show in September, when she explained why, unlike the other panelists that week, she couldn’t “face her fear” -- which in her case involved lying down on a bed of nails.

Gilbert and Perry got married late last March after dating since late 2011.

Also subbing on the show Monday, but for a much different reason: Lisa Kudrow, who sat in for Aisha Tyler after the regular panelist got hung up by bad weather as she tried to fly back from New York.

“Hopefully some of her awesomeness rubbed off on my chair,” Tyler tweeted Monday afternoon.
