Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting has officially filed for divorce, ending her 21-month marriage to tennis player Ryan Sweeting.

The “Big Bang Theory” star submitted her petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, according to several reports.

The actress and athlete listed their date of separation as Sept. 3 and have a prenuptial agreement in place that arranged details of spousal support and division of assets.

That prenup is likely good news for the sitcom star: She was named one of TV’s highest-paid actresses by Forbes earlier this month, earning in the neighborhood of $28.5 million last year.

The 29-year-old is also seeking to drop Sweeting from her hyphenated last name and restore her moniker to Kaley Christine Cuoco.

Cuoco-Sweeting and Sweeting announced their split Friday via People magazine, saying that they had “mutually decided to end their marriage,” and declined to elaborate on the matter.

The couple were engaged in September 2013 after only three months of dating, and wed on Dec. 31, 2013, in a fire-and-ice-themed celebration.

Though Sweeting was usually seen on his wife’s arm on the red carpet, the blond star hit the Primetime Emmy Awards solo earlier this month. After announcing their breakup on Friday, Cuoco-Sweeting spent the weekend clocking in quality time with her friends, family and some horses.

Rumors of marital woes have swirled around the couple since April, and they “seemed miserable” in each other’s company on recent outings, according to People.

“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable,” a source told the mag. “You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended.”
