GOP candidates: An article in the June 28 Section A about the wide field of Republican presidential candidates referred to Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s support for expanding Medicare under the Affordable Care Act. It should have said Medicaid.

“Soap”: An article in the June 28 Section A about movie and TV portrayals of gays and lesbians said that Jodie Dallas, Billy Crystal’s character on the 1970s TV comedy “Soap,” was a gay man who “reversed himself” and became straight. In fact, while Jodie had a sexual relationship with a woman and fathered a child, he identified as gay throughout the series.
